he clear teaching of the Scripture is that God will supply all the needs of his servants.

Mat 10:8  Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

Php 4:19  But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

God is fully aware of  the needs of His people and will make us aware of such needs. He may use us to make others aware of some needs but there are very  many pretend Christians who prey on our automatic feelings of sympathy. When the Scriptures tell us to give to those who ask

Mat 5:42  Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.

I believe that is not a carte blanche instruction to give blindly.  We must apply, as far as we can, God's principles to each case. God usually gives as is genuinely needed, not just desired. Whe he gives in to our requests which are not necessary, there is a danger.

Psa 106:15  And he gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul.

In fact, if giving is not clearly prompted by the Holy Spirit, such action may act contrary to God's dealings with the recipient. We should always seek God's guidance in each individual case. As a sincere, Bible believing Christian you have the full availability of the Holy Spirit.  Use Him.

We are all probably aware of adverts seeking funds for some claimed charitable purpose without mentioning the huge benefits paid to various employees/agents involved.

These days, the costs of maintaining a site are very low. and the involvement of full time staff is rare. If the Lord's will is that a project continues, He will provide for it, but before you rush to respond to an appeal, please give it full consideration spiritually. The contents of a site should give you some indication as to whether or not the promotors are involved in more expensive requirements for the site's purposes. The Holy Spirit WILL guide God's people in this.

One clearly worthy case is e-sword which is an incredibly efficient and easy way to use a Bible and associated books. It must require more than one full time worker to maintain it and it makes no attempt to solicit advertisements etc.    https://www.e-sword.net

When you click on a link to another site,  I may or may not agree with their views on any particular subject, although I am generally happy with their approach. Many sites claiming to expound Christian beliefs are careless in their Bible quotes, referring only to those  apparently supporting their view but ignoring those that do not. I have tried to  avoid doing that. Our approach to Scripture must be to learn the truth, not to win arguments as if we were playing a game. You may think I have too many quotes but I believe the Sword of the Spirit should be used as much as possible.
